Do I need a special hub or router?
No separate hub is required — our devices connect straight to your existing home WiFi. We'll flag it upfront if a specific product ever needs anything extra.
Will it work with my current WiFi?
Yes, as long as you have a stable home internet connection. We can also advise on placement if your home has any weak-signal spots.
Can more than one person control it?
Yes — every family member can have the app on their own phone, with shared control over the same connected home.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Locks and switches keep their basic local function working without internet — a keypad, fingerprint, or physical key still opens the door, and a physical toggle still works the switch. It's remote, away-from-home control through the app that needs an internet connection.
Do you install it, or is it DIY?
We offer install support if you'd like us to handle setup for you — many devices are also simple enough to configure yourself with the app, if you'd rather do it that way.
